Halloween Cupcakes with Worm-Infested Graves
Vanilla cupcakes topped with chocolate buttercream, grated chocolate, fondant gravestones, and gummy worms — the kids go absolutely wild for these at Halloween.
Fun and slightly healthier Halloween treat — cut spooky shapes from melon and serve with a "bloody" white chocolate dip. Kids love it.
Warm the cream in a small saucepan, then pull it off the heat. Break the white chocolate into small pieces and drop them into the hot cream. Let it sit until the chocolate has melted, then stir in the red food colouring.
Slice the melon and use cookie cutters to press out spooky shapes. Put them in a bowl together with the raspberries and strawberries.

The dip keeps in the fridge for up to 2 days in a sealed jar. It will firm up when cold, so just set it in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes and stir before serving. The cut melon is best eaten the same day as it gets watery fast, and the berries will keep overnight but are softer by the next morning.
This works well on a Halloween party table alongside other finger foods like popcorn or pretzels. The dip also doubles as a sauce for plain crackers if you need to stretch it a bit further.
